The Sentry

I've always loved drawing and give credit to Paul Young, one of my favourite art teachers for introducing me to some of the finer techniques of good draftsmanship. I particularly like the look of carbon pencil, as it is a deeper black and has very little shine compared to graphite. From 1979, this is an older drawing of my family's beloved cat, Corky.
